DESCRIPTION:2024 Skate Canada International\n\n2024 Skate Canada International is the second event of the 2024-25 ISU Grand Prix series and is scheduled to take place October 25-27\, 2024\, in Halifax\, N.S. Worlds is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. ISU Member nations select their entries according to their own criteria and skaters must be at least sixteen before July 1\, 2023. \nSkaters/teams participating in the 2024 ISU World Figure Skating Championships must have reached the required Minimum Total Elements Scores during the ongoing season (2023/24) or the immediately preceding season (2022/23). \nThe Minimum Technical Elements Score (not including Component Scores) is a Technical Score and must have been reached in an ISU recognized International Competition (as per Article 39\, paragraph 7 of the ISU Constitution and Rule 107\, paragraphs 1 to 10 of the ISU General Regulations) during the ongoing or preceding season in both segments\, Short Program/Rhythm Dance and Free Skating/Free Dance (See ISU Special Regulations Single & Pair Skating Ice Dance\, Rule 378\, paragraph 3). \n\n\nWhile the Minimum Technical Elements Score must be reached separately in each segment (not a total of the two segments)\, the Minimum Technical Elements Score for each segment may be reached at different competitions. DESCRIPTION:2023 Autumn Classic | Challenger Series\n\nThe 2023 Autumn Classic is the second in a series of nine events of the 2023-24 Figure Skating Challenger Series and is scheduled to take place in Pierrefonds\, QC\, Canada\, September 14-16\, 2023. \nThe event will feature all four figure skating disciplines (Men\, Women\, Ice Dance\, and Pairs) and will be conducted in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations\, the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating\, the Technical Rules for Ice Dance 2023/24 (ISU Communication 2560)\, and relevant ISU Communications. \nThe event will count towards ISU World Standing Points\, Minimum Total Technical Score\, Challenger Series in Figure Skating Ranking and Prize Money. \n\n\nThe Challenger Series is an International Figure Skating Series\, introduced during the 2014-15 season. Through ISU support\, the objective is to ensure the proper and consistent organization and conduct of up to 10 International Competitions linked together within the Challenger Series. The Series gives adequate opportunities for many skaters to compete at the international senior level and earn World Standing Points. The Series also increases the opportunity for Officials to officiate at an international level. \nTo be considered for the Challenger Series\, the competition must have at least three disciplines (Men\, Women\, Pair Skating\, Ice Dance) from a minimum of 10 different ISU Members in all disciplines combined. \n\nEntries/Results

SUMMARY:2022 Skate Canada
DESCRIPTION:2022 Skate Canada is the second event of the 2022-23 Grand Prix series and is scheduled to take place Oct. 28-30\, 2022\, in Mississauga\, ON\, Canada\, at Paramount Fine Foods Centre. The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series consists of six international senior invitational events and culminates with the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in December in Torino\, Italy. \n\nEntries/Results\n\nThe Skaters are selected and invited to the six Grand Prix of Figure Skating events based on the results of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2022. Skaters/Couples who have placed 1 to 6 in each of the four categories are seeded and assigned to two events. Skaters/ Couples who have placed 7-12 at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships are selected for two ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating events\, and Skaters with a top 24 Seasonal Best Scores (from the 2021/22 season) as well as those placed in the top 24 of the ISU World Standings can also be invited. If available\, medalists from the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships can also be selected. \nIn order for a Skater/Couple to be eligible to compete at an ISU Grand Prix event\, a minimum total score must have been achieved in the 2021/22 or current 2022/23 season at an ISU event (Grand Prix\, Junior Grand Prix\, Championships) or a Challenger Series event. Exceptions apply to host country Skaters\, previously ranked Skaters or split ranked Couples who return with new partners. The minimum total score is 3/5 of highest score per discipline at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2022 and are as follows: Women: 141.65\, Men: 187.49\, Pairs: 132.65\, Ice Dance: 137.89
