that won't be a case for me (to medal) but regardless - this is sooo exciting
I've been totally surprised each time I've 'medalled' You'll do better than you think :agree:
that won't be a case for me (to medal) but regardless - this is sooo exciting
MEN:
probably the hardest one - quite a deep field, too many dark horses, too many "nerves-eat-me-alive" ones. Too many scenarios possible <God help me>
1. Shoma UNO - I know I'm crazy, but he's a new Takahashi for me (my forever idol along with Jeff Buttle,Stephane Lambiel and Brian Joubert) and he's capable imo of some BANG there (as for win this I mean)
2. Jason BROWN - I think he'll be 1st after short, but then Shoma will set a fire in FS. Reverse order much more realistic, but a fan can dream...
3. Takahito MURA
4. Han YAN
5. Adam RIPPON
6. Nam NGUYEN
total gamble there...other Chinese men could mix, Farris, Murakami...
LOL your prediction is exactly what I've been thinking as well and talking about with FS friends outside GS! Shoma winning, Jason with his consistency coming 2nd, Mura with his quads coming 3rd and I thought of not putting Josh very high because I have a feeling that long-distance travel doesn't agree with him! Last night I was sure Adam would be 4th, but this morning I was thinking he either has the two skates of his life and wins or he bombs slightly, so I moved him into 5th (hoping that he would then take that as experience/practice and really bring it at Worlds). All this in my head of course
So either we're both crazy or neither of us is

oh dear, i'm already At the very thought of trying to predict the men...
the men's event will be very exciting because anybody in the top 9 can be the champion!

Men's
*Putting this list together for the men was excruciatingly painful. So hard to determine. There are at around 10 men in the conversation of "Who can medal?"
All this in my head of course
So either we're both crazy or neither of us is
ETA: Swap Nam and Yan and I think I have my Men's predicition completed
Glad to know that I'm not alone with my craziness for Men's competition predictions
But today, after I woke up my first thought was: "Oh frak..I forgot about Denis Ten in my predictions...Whereshould I put him?!". So I'll probably revise this one, but probably at the end of the week (this issue will need more contemplating - even more than I expected...)
y so difficult?
Im going to go Japanese sweep for now since they didn't have 2 men on gpf podium for the first time in ages
LOL at people's prediction on the men's event. I have to take out some emoticons from the above since one post only allows 5 images.
