Costumes of 2016-17 season

Because I really want to talk about it.
This season, which one do you guys like the most? Which one do you think "OMG it matches the program so well", and which one makes you feel confused？
Please share you favorite!

I like the one in Yuzuru Hanyu’s FS（It looks like a poem writing on the ice!).
And Jason Brown's in FS. That's so handsome!

However…I cannot understand Patrick‘s FS costume at all.
To be honest, it’s more like potassium permanganate than a journey…Even Patrick is always good looking but THIS FS costume is still too much for me.

Yuzu's costumes are never dull. Never ever.

I like the costume change Jason has done to his LP costume (EDIT: Sorry, SP costume!). It was too simple before and off the rack, but the new one looks well tailored and very cool.

For the ladies, there are so many beautiful dresses this season I can't remember a single one I didn't like. This isn't always the case. I especially like Mao's dresses, and Pogorilaya's LP dress.

I don't even know Jason has changed the LP costume this season！But he did it in a really good way.
…Patrick Chan changed his LP costume too but I prefer the first one. The second is even worse than the first.
What happened to Mura actually？My friend and I both think he do has some interesting but lovely costume these years LOL

We have lots of black costumes this season. Javi looks great in black and suits his flamenco SP.
Yuzu's purple costume works so good with his LGC, his aetheric LP costume is the best of this season costumes IMO.
And I also like very much Shoma's tango costume and Evgenia's SP dress, such a beautiful color. :luv17:

The big stunner of the season for me had to be the moment Max took off his jacket in the warmup for the SP at US Nationals. When he stepped out in that stunning matador costume with the royal blue instead of the warhorse red, and the high-cut matador jacket with the sparkling trim...holy WOW. Max has copped a lot of crap for his costumes over the years (and even admitted this is why he designs them, so that the feelings of the costume designers are spared), but this one was one of THE best costumes of the year.

Brendan's SP costume is absolutely immaculate and I love the grey-and-pink combination on him. And shout-out to Andrew's SP costume and both of Brooklee's dresses.

I'm still not sure what to make of Yuzuru's dyed SP costume. hwell:

The Prince program keeps growing on me more and more, every time. On the other hand, I strangely miss Hanyu's White Ranger lookalike costume. I say strangely, because I don't think I got enough chances to make up my mind properly whether I liked it or not (especially, in terms of getting to see how the white to hold up with the white ice in the larger stage).

For me, the best costume of the season for Men's has to be Nathan Chen's FS costume. Love the detail.

Do you mean Jason's SP? (If so, I agree. The previous one was a bit too simple!) Cause the FS costume looks the same one, albeit maybe with an alteration job so It fits better. It was kind of baggy earlier in the season.

I love the Shibs FD costumes! Blue is my favorite color and the sparkly gives it a flowing night sky look to it.

I'll keep it simple and pick one for each discipline.
Men: Yuzu's short. He really took the let's go crazy thing seriously!
Ladies: Kaetlyn's long. It took a while for the program to grow on me, but I always thought the dress complemented the music beautifully.
Pairs: Savcnehko and Massot's long. Just gorgeous.
Pairs: Shibutabi siblings. Midnight blue is always a winner for me.

Honorable mention: Ashley's short. Love it or hate it (and I love), you must admit, it really suits the music!

This shirt reflects the long but fruitful winemaking process of the precious liquid ruby.Thus, The Journey.

I do not like grays and browns in figure skating and I always prefer costumus that have some colour. So I actually like Patrick Chan’s FS shirt. At least it’s way more interresting than his usual ones. I really disliked Tessa Virtue’s brown dress at the begining of the season.

Black can work but I feel like many times a skater must work twice as much to show emotions. This season Chan and Fernandez back to back in SP is not a good thing. Black works really well for James/Cipres though.

When I’m watching Hanyu’s SP I’m like: I really hate the pants...nice 4Lo...I really hate the pants…don’t pop the 4S!…I really hate the pants… …
If he’ll keep the SP for next season I hope he’ll rework the whole outfit.

I like catsuits on ladies when the pants are black or a dark colour (James, Tobias, Virtue).
Alisa Efimova’s white ”catsuit” in CoR is the worst outfit of the season so far.

What's wrong with Hanyu's pants? For me it just a normal purple pants, I don't hate it or love it anyway. But I do know someone who love his SP pants from heart.
