They were such a highlight from me. Seeing this FD in person made me appreciate it so much more. Live rendition really makes you see the nuance given to the movement and feel the emotional depth they dig into while performing.
Probably the only team now that can make the silence sing and take a shape.
I felt privileged to have opportunity to see them, photograph them. And put crowns on their beautiful, talented heads.

This thread is in serious need of a new post. While I certainly enjoyed and supported our three American dance teams at the recently completed Worlds, I admit I really missed seeing Kaitlin and Jean-Luc perform at worlds. I sincerely hope that they can heal through their physical ills and their mental challenges and come back for next season in tip top shape.

We don't know their programs for next season yet, do we? I hope they continue to explore classical in the FD (their Chopin is one of my all time favorite FDs, and last year's Schubert was lovely, if not quite as perfect...). I was just listening to Rachmaninoff's Cello Sonata in G Minor and thinking of them...
