Hello,

I thought it was about time to make a fan thread for this lovely team. Since they first started competing at Nebelhorn Trophy in September they already charmed a lot of figure skating fans over the world and have been improving over the last couple of months all though they only started training together this spring. This weekend they became the Swedish national senior champions in Ice Dance, and i´m expecting them to win more hearts as the season continues, where Euros and Worlds are on the tables for them.

:hap10: :hap10:

They have already marked themselves early with a lot of interest about them teaming up and there are more interviews and articles I would like to share, starting of course with the lovely interview made by Goldenskate this spring

Milla and Nikolaj was on Swedish television yesterday and someone on Twitter recorded and added English subtitles too. Nikolaj tells more about his injury, how bad it was and that he struggled with depression when he thought his career was over. Very interesting interview.

Btw, Milla speaks Norwegian and Nikolaj Swedish, that is how they communicate:biggrin:

Both Millas and Nikolajs Instagram bio now says that their locations are in Norrköping in Sweden :unsure:

There was an article in Swedish papers a few days ago confirming that Milla is moving to Sweden to try get a Swedish citizenship before OG26. It´s a requirement that she lives in Sweden to be able to get that.

I don´t know if it actually means they will not train in Oberstdorf anymore or if they are going back and forth. If there is really strict requirements about living in Sweden I guess it means they will be doing most of the training there. They really seemed to to thrive in Oberstdorf and seems to work well together with the coach and others teams, so it´s kind of a pity if they are completely out of training there.

But of course they need to do what is required to get the citizenship. Maybe they will only live in Sweden until Milla has got the citizenship and then move back to Oberstdorf. I wonder how long it will take.

Nikolaj posted a story yesterday that he was on a Lufthansa plane, so it seems they are on their way to Sweden (I assume they would have gotten back to Germany from Lithuania by now).

Milla and Nikolaj did amazing in their debut. They said they are very happy about their skate and couldn´t have done better.

Congratz :clap::clap:

They hold a bright future being able to score over 60 points in their first Worlds, after only skated together a few months!
