While I think that Chopin is a lovely choice for his SP, I still hope that he'll up the fun factor a bit for his FS :yes: I want something a bit more upbeat and, well, just something fun. I dunno, I find it kinda hard to get more specific than that.


how about Starlight Express? :biggrin: I'm sure he'd make a lovely little choo-choo train

I'd still prefer The Time Warp. I mean, that one even has the jump to the left already built in, that would be perfect.

I totally agree! And Bourne's stuff tends to be more "stylish" and fun. I mean on one hand she DID create that horrendous Pagliacci for Takahashi but I think it was mostly Morozov'ed to death. Her mambo for Takahashi was really fun, she did West Side Story for Suzuki, and that ACDC program for Reynolds.

I think the Nutcracker really suited Hanyu here when he was skating at the GPF finale. Something fun and a bit faster than he's used to could really increase his showmanship.

I agree! Something contemporary and a bit edgy. I'd love to see a different side of Yuzuru. ;)

Lol, Romeo and Juliet with lyrics! You guys really crack me up. :laugh: I honestly expect we'll see that someday... just hopefully not next season... and hopefully as a show number...

Regarding the Gladiator suggestion: isn't Max Aaron doing it? I dunno if it'll be a good fit for Yuzu, to be honest, though it'll be cool to see him try something different.

...am I the only one who'd take musical over jazz? :slink:

It depends, I guess. There's jazz, and then there's jazz. It's a pretty wide field. Some things are good and some unbearable. But that's just me...
And I'll freely admit that I do have a few musical obsessions :biggrin: (and on second thought that Time Warp suggestion might not have been my smartest idea yet. I'd probably just start dancing around every time and miss the whole program. Bad habits die hard, I can tell you that.)

I like Jazz/Fusion such as Dave Grusin that I often listen to…though I think Jazz Fusion music does not suit Yuzuru unfortunately.
