I do too!!! I had a friend in my early university days whose name was Dee, so I always picture our Dee as kinda looking like her.

SammieJ, You have given me a wonderful opportunity to ask what all that FSU speak means. Please translate???

I think I am Ok on eys (yes typed wrong) innit (isn't it?) and voids (skaters with quirky style and inconsistent performance who suck you into liking them, but usually, but not always disappoint?)

But, what are Pryde, tiffin, and PML????

Seriously, I am too dumb to know these. Help!!

That's how I picture Kara too. I will have to come up with what I think Mathman looks like.

Ah, Big Al, the Sonja Henie of twentieth century physics.

If you really want to know what I look like you can do a Google image search on my real name and you will see a picture of me holding up a model of the universe (this is true). That's what I do in my spare time, when I'm taking a break from my real job (posting on GS: lol) -- I make mathematical models to test cosmological theories.

I remember a previous conversation here:

emiC, "What is mathematics?"

MM, "Mathematicians do math, and mathematicians watch figure skating, draw your own conclusion."

I fed the above into the CIA (click instant answer) program. My computer spat, "no conclusion, try LOA (looseness of association) I fed the above int CIA and searched for LOA, my computer screen flashed, "emiC, you are an idiot", and then my computer crashed.

So I am glad to find out finally what our GS mathematician does. MM holds up the universe. :rollin:

OK, my computer screen is still intact, nothing is crashing. :rollin:
