The only question is, "Are they cheerleaders on ice skates, or a synchronized skating team holding pom-poms?...and is there really a difference?" It's kind of surprising that it took so long for someone to think of this rather obvious idea. Click HERE for an example. ​

Oh my good heavens - What would the "great one" Wayne Gretsky or any of Canada's great hockey players think of this? Cheerleaders at a hockey game? I don't think so!!!

As a long time hockey fan, I think this is a terrible idea. I don't need cheerleaders to get me into the game. Leave the cheerleaders to football and basketball.

I am surprised at the apprehension. ???? That is encouraging acutely. If it gives exposure to FS and they do look cute as THEY are having fun. Nothing wrong with it IMO, why anyone would have a problem with using the "ice exposure time" for FS is anti FS.
