Thank you, cloudkicker! As I'm from Germany I'm never able to watch much Ice-Dance. Luckily they showed the OD's on Eurosport last night but for the FD's I'll have to wait for youtube. So reading your posts here let me take part at least a little bit.

Rubleva/Sheffer reminded me a bit of K/N in that they slowed down quite a bit in the step sequences, or so I thought.

Didn't think that deserved to be ahead of S/G, but oh well.

2nd group warming up now.

I thought that the 6-second combinated lift by S/G was overextended maybe that's the reason for the deduction.
I liked them and also C/S's FD

Go Tanith and Ben !

Samuelson/Bates; good FD.
Very strong performance. She had a little misstep somewhere but I think it was pretty minor.
Their expression has improved since last season.
Only complaint is I do not like that lift where she has her legs wrapped around his waist (I hope that's the way to describe it).
Probably into first.

Samuelson/Bates

great unison in twizzles
curve lift - very innovative, well done
circular step - good ice coverage, loads of speed
serpentine lift- secure.
combo spin
synchronized twizzles both very precise.
straight line step sequence - a very minor stumbles.
straight line lift, superb element.
rotational lift - lots of speed.

technically sound team.

musical choice is interesting, they skate very close together. He is a secure partner, and the girl has good extensions.

score: 88.84
currently 1st.

Kerrs were just lovely! Only thing I can stay is she struggled a little with the first set of twizzles, but she held on.
Will most likely be one of my favorite FDs of the entire season.
