Give the audience a little credit, will you? We have seen many competitions in all different countries, when skaters fell or did bad on something, the audiences used clapping as the encouragement and support to the skaters. Is this your first time watching skating competition?

I did mean that entirely sarcastically (though I apologize for it, because I usually dislike sarcasm myself). I was referencing the sorts of comments made last night when there was clapping after S/S's fall - some people assumed the worst, and I disagreed that that was what it was all about.
Of course the audience was trying to encourage Liam. He was the first skater on, and fell on his first jump!
To answer your question, it's probably about my 1,001st time watching a skating competition !
