After the win, can we officially say she's the best figure skater that came out of Japan?

Yes, definitely. She has all the qualities you look for in a champion.
Also, as far as the most number of wins at Worlds Championships, no other skater from Asian countries has won more than Mao. Not even Ando, Arakawa, Sato, Ito, Lu Chen or Yuna Kim was able to do the feat! :clap:

Mao is amazing. After her crushing SP in Sochi she put 3 of the best ever skates. I can't believe she's been around for so long and is still only 23. She still looks like a fresh junior. Is she really done after worlds??

Winning Worlds in your home country is a great way to end career.
