Shotaro Omori's new YouTube channel!

Shotaro Omori, who was part of the US sweep at junior worlds in 2013 (won bronze behind Josh Farris and Jason Brown) has started his on YouTube channel!

His first video is a day in the life. So lots of fun shots of him training plus cameos of coach Tammy Gammill and teammates Richard Dornbush, Sean Rabbitt and Brendan Kerry (AUS).

Shotaro was sidelined for much of last season due to injures, so it's good
to see him back in action.

Cool to see the switching of his gears as he first is on the receiving end of coaching earlier in the day, but then transitions to coaching others at the end of the day.

(I wonder who his camera person was for the many shots in which he himself appears. :think

I just happened to see his program while doing gkelly's comparative experiment...and I became an instant fan. Go Shotaro!

I just back from An Evening with Champions, and I was sitting very close to where the athletes came onto the ice and Shotaro was sitting on the hockey benches and videotaping most of the routines. So we should definitely see some videos!

And for those interested, Shotaro gave a really nice performance. He was one of my favorites and really stood out for me with his elegance and emotion. He is definitely very expressive and a joy to watch.
