So since Karen Chen isn't eligible for worlds, she's most likely going to be named to the junior world team. Not sure how many spots we have for ladies though...if we have two, will they take bradie or leave her? If they leave her, who will they take? If we have 3 spots who will the other 2 be?

Yes, hopefully their combined placement will be 13 or less so they can regain 3 spots.

Also, they need to be among top 3 countries to regain 2 spots at each JGP.
Right now I think Russia and Japan will definitely beat them, so they'll need to focus staying ahead of:
- Turzynbaeva (KAZ)
- Choi (KOR)
- Rajicova? (SVK)
- Bock/Schott? (GER)
- others

Doable, but they can't afford to have a meltdown or shaky skate like last year

Karen was beaten in the JGP by Russian and Japanese skaters (Medvedeva, Higuchi and Sotskova), so even if she finished 4th or 5th behind those or other Russian or Japanese ladies, the US would still be the 3rd highest nation and would get 2 spots per JGP event next season. Karen was the first alternate to the JGPF, and she's been skating a lot stronger since the JGP, so there's no guarantee those ladies could still beat her.
