Is anybody else shocked for the fact that Navka and Kostomarov placed 3rd in the original dance. Apparently Gregory and Petukhov had higher technical scores than the Russians

Please! Anyone! What happened to Navka and Kostomarov?!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Good for G&P, btw. It's important for them to establish themselves above K&N and G&B.

From what I've read-the top teams were all very sloppy.


N&K: Roman apparently had a mistake on a straightline sequence-and apparently took a while to catch up. I've also read that they have really been uping the difficulty of their routines-and have a lot more transitions than they usually do. As a result, their best assets; their smoothness and high quality polish simply isn't there.

D&S(BUL): Did not have a mistake like N&K. This OD def. does not seem like one of their strong ones; as I've heard there has been a lot of possing.
(It seems like D&S and N&K have decided to switch skating styles )

D&S (FRA): Apparently were a lot better than the other teams. With strong transitions etc.

From the reports it probably should have gone:

N&K
D&S(BUL)

Very interesting. I'm sure N&K will rebound in the FD. Happy for D&S, though.
