You know, considering that this week’s competition is in Japan, and so a lot of it is overnight in Europe, the coverage is actually really good.

As usual, there is no LIVE coverage on the linear TV channels of those segments that start before 06:00 GMT. There is only LIVE TV coverage of the things that start after this time. BUT, there are extensive highlights of EVERYTHING that was not covered LIVE. (Although, this does lead to the strange situation where the Free Dance coverage is being shown directly after the LIVE coverage of the Gala, which will give away the results!)

There are also lots of repeats of everything. Unless you are watching ESP Deutschland, where there are very few repeats.

I am probably going to be away tomorrow, so I won’t be able to finish this at the time I normally do. But, I will definitely finish it first thing on Wednesday morning (before breakfast!)

FYI, if you are new to NBC Sports Gold, there is no commentary (big bonus) and there are some tricks to use the player over the web.
I am having the best luck on my wife's laptop (Win 10) by using MS Edge for the browser. With its HDMI port connected to the telly.
After log in, there may be a "watch now" button....there are some other buttons you have to push. One is which pass you purchased (figure skating) which is in a pull down menu and the other is if you want to watch live or on demand.
Sometimes you are asked to log in AGAIN but usually you dont have to.
One hang up is that when ever you change "on demand" to "Live" or back, you have to re-enter which pass you purchased (Figure skating). Another hang up is
that you MIGHT have to hit the "refresh page" button on your computer for events that have recently finished and now should appear in the "on demand" tab. If you do that,
then you might have to re-hit the "On demand" button and of course the "Which pass did you purchase" pull down menu.
YMMV but for some reason it is really THAT cumbersome to use the player. But once you get used to it, its worth it cause the quality is excellent. The K and C audio could be louder but oh well.....
Maybe someday they will tweek the player and you will log in, chose your pass, and then the event. But this is way better than IceNotWork was.

I listen to a 90 minute radio programme every morning, and usually spend the last hour of it doing stuff for the forum. The TV post usually takes about 2 hours - 1 hour to do the British, German and French versions (because there are a lot of variations between them), and 1 hour for the rest.

When I first started doing them a few years back, it was a lot simpler and quicker because back then it was only really the British and French versions that would deviate from the default Eurosport International schedule. But, over the past few years, Eurosport has increasingly been buying national rights for sports, rather than the pan-European rights that they used to stick to. So, more versions are deviating from the default schedule.

My dream would be that Eurosport would return to having ESP1 International and ESP2 International (with multiple language feeds) available in every country, and then have a separate national channel in each country for sports that they only have the rights for there. But, they have come so far down this road that I can't see them turning back now.

Eurosport do seem to be concentrating more on getting people to subscribe to their online content than they are on their linear TV channels. Which is a shame, because the linear Eurosport TV channels were THE place to go to over the years for sports that weren't football, cricket or rugby. But, now they are a shadow of their former selves.

I listen to a 90 minute radio programme every morning, and usually spend the last hour of it doing stuff for the forum. The TV post usually takes about 2 hours - 1 hour to do the British, German and French versions (because there are a lot of variations between them), and 1 hour for the rest.

When I first started doing them a few years back, it was a lot simpler and quicker because back then it was only really the British and French versions that would deviate from the default Eurosport International schedule. But, over the past few years, Eurosport has increasingly been buying national rights for sports, rather than the pan-European rights that they used to stick to. So, more versions are deviating from the default schedule.

My dream would be that Eurosport would return to having ESP1 International and ESP2 International (with multiple language feeds) available in every country, and then have a separate national channel in each country for sports that they only have the rights for there. But, they have come so far down this road that I can't see them turning back now.

It wasn't shown (none of the World Feed coverage was shown today on the Eurosport Player). And they are not planning to show any highlights on the TV either.

So, if you want to see it today, the best bet is probably to wait and see if some kind souls upload the videos to YouTube.

But, if you are willing to wait longer, then the World Feed coverage will be archived on the ISU's channel on Eurovision Sports:

But, when that gets done, I haven't a clue.

Just to let you know - I just checked and all the routines are up on YouTube. And in all cases, they have both the version with Russian commentary, and the version with no commentary.

So, I'm going to go through them all tomorrow morning before Eurosport show their LIVE coverage of the Gala. And then that'll be me ready for the highlights of the Free Dance being shown straight after the Gala.

I would do it tonight, but I've been held up by my Uncle calling for a visit. So, I'm going to have to delay the start of the Formula 1 Qualifying, as I want to finish what I had been watching when he arrived first.
