How did I manage that?!

Interesting that it was in the categories that I had kids competing that I didn't medal! Funny that.

But, to be fair, I wasn't far off - 4th in the Ladies and 5th in the Pairs.

But, yeah, I know what you mean. When there are things like surprise results, inconsistent skaters, injuries, and rink monsters to contend with, it is a massive achievement to win medals regularly.
