2023 JGP Bangkok is the first of seven of the 2023-24 Junior Grand Prix series and will take place August 23-26, 2023, at the IWIS International Training Center in Bangkok, Thailand. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series consists of seven international junior invitational events during the fall culminating with the 2023-24 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in December 2023.

This event will feature the Singles (Men and Women) and Ice Dance disciplines and will be conducted in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating and relevant ISU Communications.

America (Ladies) and France (Ice Dance) must be going for the record for the most substitutes submitted for a single slot - they each have ELEVEN potential alternates!

For the Men, the most alternates is 10 for America. Come on, surely you could have found one more boy!

Actually, looking again, I see America has 2 slots in the Men. So, it is the same number of names in total, i.e. 12.

Its a beautiful country and the people I have met from there are very nice. Emily Chan tells me just make sure you pick a humane elephant sanctuary to visit.
