Adelina Sotnikova to compete on Russian "Dancing With the Stars"

Adelina finished 4th in dance (45 out of 50) but 1st overall. So congrats

Wow she finally got first place in votes. Good for her. Nice dance, doesn't beat the last two dances for me but still niec. I really like that she is doing these different dance styles, while will hopefully help her in the future with her skating.

Technically it's her second time, her waltz placed 1st with voters as well.

And it took watching the practice footage to realize that the girl in the yellow jacket is Adelina, wow it didn't even cross my mind when they were introducing Adelina and Gleb that she was the one waving that baton in his face (I thought she was a backup dancer ). **face palm**

Oh yeah she was still mad. You can tell people like her, Julia, Aliya Mustafina can stay mad for a while, lol. She will have to get over it and just make sure she does well in the semi-finals. Gleb needs to make sure she is the focus like he did for the other dances.

I wonder what they will do this week. Have they gotten Paso before?

So far they have not done Paso or flamenco. Don't know what other dances they have not done yet since I never watch dance.

Yes, I would love a new SP to these. She would definitely stand out if she went down this route

I was thinking throughout their freestyle, "if only she could cut the skirt, she would look amazing on the ice in this!" The same could be said about her contemporary or tango dresses. I like her Samba dress too but I image that would be a little harder to make that skirt work outside of an exhibition The Rumba dress too, I just love the way it moved. Her styling in this show had just been excellent!!!

I must say it was nice during the twister that Agnia made sure Adelina's skirt was still decent Now what was Maxim K. doing during the freestyle judging? What a dork
