I'm glad he recovered ok from Covid as well! Here's hoping he gets a chance to compete this season!

I went back to check his post, and it was dated September 10, he said he is back on ice, it’s going to be hard to catch up (he was out of training for 2 months) and finished with see you this season, so it sounds like he plans to compete, but if so it will likely be later in the season. I hope he would be able to participate in junior nationals.

Kutovoy is chit-chatting on telegram. Says, before the competitions, lots of thoughts, anxiety, etc, but as soon as music starts playing, he calms down and blanks out all thoughts. If a jump was not going well in the warm up, he would focus on the technique when going into the jump. When the jumping passes all done, then, says Kutovoy, he can think about whatever he likes. Like where to go the next day
