Bad Hair Day

Say what was going on with Cynthia Phaneuf 's hair at Skate America? Was that Silver glitz in her hair or what? I thought it looked awful on such a young girl. I don't know who told it looked good. Her whole look and skate sort of threw me off. I know it is early in the season and she certainly is a boon to our ladies discipline, but she needs to learn to relax when she skates. Too stiff. Hope she does better with her next skate.

It's lucky that she got silver with that hairdo. Any hair-do, not that one, such as pony tail, or classical bun, will soften her image, and makes her look a lot better.

I actually think Cynthia would look MUCH better with a short hairdo. Those streaked bangs plastered sideways on her forehead make her look dowdy---that look went out with the '60s.

A less severely-tailored costume would take away from that 'stiff' look, too.

I liked the way she looked--very modern and anti baby-ballerina-ish. I thought she looked quite unique. :agree:
