I'd say Alissa deserves to compete at Nationals this year, but not necessarily to go to the Olympics. She's already been to the Olympics once, and there's no sense letting someone go if they have not demonstrated in a given season an ability to complete a program.
Alissa certainly does not deserve to go more than Ashley or Gracie. If one of them flubs at Nationals and places 4th or 5th, and Alissa places 3rd, I think they should go over her.
That said, it's not outrageously biased to suggest that, all other things being equal, Alissa, as the most historically accomplished American skater in the running, is high on the deserving-scale to go to Sochi.
