I don't know if any of you read the Yahoo Skatefans list, but there is a poster there that troubled to write a very interesting review of the CD's. He is, I believe, an ex-dancer. He said that FP/M's dance was very interesting-from the waist up they looked smooth and flowy and from the waist down, their feet were just not right. He compared them to T&D's 1994 CD's (not their 1984, which are the Holy Grail of CD's, as good vs. any others as the figures of Trixie Schuba were to all other figures) By 1994 T&D hadn't done a CD in 10 years, and it showed in the feet but not in the waist up. He had FP/M quite a bit lower in the standings.
Their lack of leg line unison was very poor for a top team in the CD. As a person who habitually notices their feet first, of course this was obvious to me, and I missed any goodness about the upper bodies.
And in a CD, 'sold the program' is not part of the marks, any more than Trixie Schuba got marks for 'selling' a school figure.
