Several ladies stood up to the pressure of the competition, but it was Rachael Flatt who ran away with the competition and a ticket to compete in the Olympic Games next month in Vancouver.

I preferred Mirai's LP to Rachel's... and don't even get me started on my disappointment that Ashley is unable to go to Vancouver  this weekend was not a good one for my favorites

^^Yeah, really bad weekend for my favorites too! Luckily Euros turned out to be alright. I'm super sad Ashley ended up in that 'dreaded 3rd position'. When she fell in the short, I kind of feared it was over for her. I'm really sad her season is practically over; it started out so amazing!

Next year I hope Ashley has a triple-triple and doesn't two-foot any of her jumps; that together with her wonderful artistic quality and stunning spins, spirals and energy will be a winner combination.
