Golden Skate catches up with Japan's Koshiro Shimada who was assigned his first Grand Prix event in Sheffield, Great Britain, this fall! The 20-year-old trains in Champéry, Switzerland, under Stéphane Lambiel. He shares tidbits about his goals for the 2022-23 figure skating season, his new short program, inspiration, and how Yuzuru Hanyu inspired him!

I was a bit worried about him given his results last season. It's so good to see him smiling and back to work again!
