Live v. Memorex

I've been really enjoying the comments from various folks who attend these events live. I would be interested in brief comments in one spot from those of you who see one or more of the events live, then see them on TV, and your differing impressions based on the two drastically different formats.

i.e. Joe mentioned (as just one example of several) that he was more impressed with Alissa live. In the past I recall folks saying that maybe Sasha looks more impressive on TV.

After seeing Fumie on TV for years, and then seeing her live in Skate Canada last year, you really see the SPRING in her jumps live. She had the highest, and smoothest jumps in the competition, even when she was falling.
