Hi everyone, I am watching this performance again and I would like to know the names of the commentators. Do you know who they are?

I just wanted to share a personal experience. I sent my mom the link to Mao's Madame Butterfly at Worlds performance and she said, "I saw Mao Asada's routine and it was the best ice skating routine I've ever seen!!! It was absolutely beautiful!!!" We are from the United States. All the people that I have showed Mao's performances too this year have all liked her performances the best: Madame Butterfly at Japan Open, Worlds and even Nationals and her SP at Cup of China and Grand Prix Final.

Judges use empirical statistics, here are some that refute their decision. Some claim that this is meaningless but in my opinion the views of hundreds of thousands of viewers which is the fuel that keeps the sport going is very important, especially since the general public are more likely to express their real opinions without giving in to the selective favoritism and disfavor from a handful of judges and a few members of a suspect tech crew. An English search shows that Mao's most watched video of Madame Butterfly has about 210,000 more views on youtube than any other performance in the women's competition, yet it finished in 7th place in the freeskate? And Mao's program has 10 times more views than others skaters who scored significantly higher than her in the LP. I have turned against the scoring system because of its injustice and this kind of unprecedented and extraordinary contradiction between public reaction and the judges fallacious evaluation acts as cement to harden my cynicism towards the scoring, not to mention the consummate artistic and athletic quality of Mao's performance and the great depth of emotion that Mao's Madame Butterfly evoked within me: chills and tears which no other skater did.I'm glad to hear that. I was surprised and depressed to see that her FS was not listed in the icenetwork poll with the annual best program. If her performances this season left many to people's hearts, it's wonderful.
I still can't believe that I can now say that I saw Mao perform live.
Sadly, that youtube account was closed not long after your post and I was unable to see the videos :-/Here are links to a wonderful documentary about Mao that aired earlier this week.

I was able to see the videos but I don't know Japanese so I couldn't figure out what they were talking about :sad4:
Me either but I still watched them all the way through. Can't get enough.
Part 1 had a frontal shot of Mao's 3Lz at Nationals (+0.80 GOE) and it was so gorgeous. I wish I had downloaded the video before it was banned!
I've said it before but will say it again, her LP at Worlds moved me to tears. I still can't believe that I can now say that I saw Mao perform live. This was such a highlight for me. She was ethereal. Please please U.S., invite her to Skate America, and Mao, please agree to come!
