Mass. Benefit Ice Show 4/12/03 - Weir & others.
The Wallace FSC will be holding their 30th annual benefit ice show on Saturday April 12th at the 2,400 seat Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg, Ma. (less than an hour west of Boston).
Headlining the show will be former Jr. World Champion Johnny Weir. Here is your chance to see what might have been at Nationals! Joining Johnny will be:
Five time Worlds competitor Elaine Asanaki.
Former Russian National Team Member Alexei Khoudyakov
Former US National Novice Champion Matt Lind.
Former NE champions Alicia Cavanaugh and Amy Bobrick.
Eastern Pairs Silver medal winners Andrea Varraux and David Pelletier
Current and 6 time US National Adult Synchro team Esprit de Corps from Hayden.
Plus performances by members of the Wallace FSC.
Shows are at 2:00 and 7:30. Door price is $14 adults and $8 kids/students, but it's not too late to call (97
345-7054 for half price ($8 and $4) advance sale tickets. The show is a nice affordable alternatative to the COI tour which is in Boston the same day. We don't have Michelle or Timmy but the tickets are about $65 cheaper - and the money goes to a great cause. Proceeds from the show go to benifit the Exchange Club of Fitchburg's Child Abuse Prevention Programs. Hope to see you there!
