Poor Jeff:no: Fell twice and ripped his pants. Stepped out of two jumps and doubled one.

I just lost the feed.

Buttle...

IMO, a truly amazing skater. The jump troubles of tonight will cost dearly. And I wonder how that rip in the pants (inner thigh, and yes I'm still the Dirty Old Lady) might have affected things. But I think this could / will be THE program of the season if he can nail everything. WOW WOW WOW.

The Canadian Men 's team is spectacular!

I think most of what he does is a thing of beauty. Can't wait to see this one later in the season.

Mean time OH JOHNNY!!! I'm really, really sad that he "quit" the program, twice according to my count. He might have gotten injured on a jump, but the fact that he quit, then picked it up again, then quit again, then picked it up again suggests that he was willing to just GIVE UP out there on the ice. We won't know until the news reports....he's balling right now. I just feel really bad for him. I think he's going through something...a stage coming from nowhere - becoming national champ - then struggling to figure out how to stay on top both competitively and artistically. DANG.

Poor Johnny. He was crying in the K&C. He really hurt his ankle.
I hope he is OK.

I have a similiar feeling about Weir going through something and not really being ready for the season. I truly hope he can work through it...and as corny as it sounds, I hope he knows that he has tons of fans that absolutely adore him. Having said that, it was really surprising to see him just sort of quit, and yes I counted twice too. I truly hope it is part of the 'thing' and not a serious physical thing.

Anyway, congrats to Eman...and is that Oda in third?? wow. cool. Glad to see Honda in good shape though. And this CCTV thing is like drugs. I don't know how I'll ever get work done....

This is shocking! Weir in 8th in the LP? I hope he is not injured.

Sounds like Buttle was lucky to get to second place, after a disastrous performance.

I can't wait to see Eman and Oda- sounds like they stole the show.

Glad to hear Honda skated well, with two triple axels, but he has a tough competition from other Japanese skaters.

That was shades of Nationals in 2003. He did finish this time though.

Congrats to Eman with a great skate. It started out so great with Honda, Eman and Sawyer then went downhill fast.
