I just started to think about it.

If I promise to the other Federations and judges that: my Champions and medalist won't compete after the Oly, it could help my athletes to get the points from those judges, whose competitors should have a chance to win World titles
without them?

It could be a very big bias between in quite many countries?
They would "pre-pay" this gesture or pay for that in a future with good points in sharp situations?

I've seen VERY different points to get by the same athletes at the Worlds than at the Oly. What was the factor which deliberated the judges?????

Wow! I love it!

Naw, that wouldn't work. They would just end up double-crossing each other. Like at Salt Lake City, where the deal was the French vote for Berezhnaya and Sikharudlidze in exchange for the Russian vote for Anissina and Peizerat. After Marie-Reine did her part, the Russian judge voted for Lobacheva and Averbuhk anyway.

As Aragorn said about the Orcs, "With these wicked folk you never know when they are in league and when they are cheating one another."

MM :)
