What's surprising is that, if you look at the mark breakdowns on ice calc, Denkova & Staviyski's technical mark is only the 4th highest! Chait & Sakhnovsky's is the highest!

And 2nd-4th places are only seperated by 1.01 points. That's close!!!

Yes, and may I say that I find it extremely suspect that they are still placed 4th. :p

Well alot can happen in the free dance. Personally, I think that Chait and Sakhnovsky is strongest at the free dance.

Well, I still expect Denkova/Stavisky to win the event. Actually, if they do, I will be 4 for 4 in the Goldenskate contest for Skate Canada! :love: :agree:

CTV just showed brief highlights of D&S and D&L. Both had a bit of trouble with the straight-line sequence, D&S more so.
