I tried to mark the first three, finding it unexpectedly difficult! Here's what I thought:

Cousins: SS 7.50
TR 5.25
PE 6.75
CH 6.50
IN 7.00
Total 66.00

Guo: SS 6.25
TR 4.00
PE 5.25
CH 5.00
IN 5.00
Total 51.00

Tyllesen: SS 7.25
TR 5.25
PE 7.00
CH 7.00
IN 7.50
Total 68.00

My overall impression was of course that all these three programs definitely lacked transitions and that the programs all looked DULL if compared to today's ones (one of the positive aspects of IJS, as others have pointed out), with very basic choreographies and the music being basically background noise.
On the contrary, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that their SS were not as bad as I thought: they were different from today's ones (a lot more "basic technique style"), but these skaters all managed to achieve good speed, flow and ice coverage with decent edges, too.

I would be interested in reading what your impressions about my marks are!

I rate the component scale like this:

Superior: 9.00-10.00
Good: 7.50-8.50
Average: 6.00-7.00
----------------------
Poor: 4.00-5.50
Very Poor: 0.25-3.50

I tried not to give anything in my "poor" category. I actually give a score to each criterion/bullet point in each component and round the average of them to the nearest quarter-point increment. E.g. Choreography for Cousins:

Purpose/Unity: 7.00
Proportion/Ice coverage: 9.00
Utilization of personal/public space: 7.50
Phrasing: 7.50
Originality: 7.75 --> 7.85 average --> 7.75

Cousins
SS 7.75
TR 5.75
PE 7.00
CH 7.75
IN 7.25

Total: 71.00

General impressions: Competent skating skills, good flow/glide, great power/energy/acceleration, good multi-directional skating, could use more one-foot skating. Choreography has some sense and structure/unity/cohesiveness, the there's a good attempt to match highlights to the music, good proportion/ice coverage.

Guo
SS 7.25
TR 4.75
PE 6.75
CH 7.00
IN 6.75

Total: 65.00

General impressions: Similar skating skills, I felt, compared to Cousins. Not many transitions. Choreography was "okay". Again, looks like there's an attempt at purpose, and matching the highlights to the music. Not much emotional involvement. Aside from the jumps, it was kind of boring.

Tyllesen
SS 7.00
TR 6.25
PE 7.75
CH 7.50
IN 8.00

Total: 73.00

Kind of..."small" skating. Not many transitions in terms of steps but at least he was doing some type of [upper] body movements, which in turn made the program and choreography much more enjoyable for me as well as gave the impression that he's at least trying to interpret the music.

...er, looks like I'm the nice judge on the panel.:slink:
