I'm so relieved to hear that you still have your job. Tell the Seaveys they've made a very wise choice. I'm sorry to hear about the fish; I know that many people there depend on them for a living.

Well, you've gone beyond Noah now. But I'm glad at least the flooding dangers have receded. Do you still have leaves on the trees? (Or do you have all conifers?) I know that if it snows with leaves still on the trees, the weight of the snow is more likely to bring down branches on power lines and wires. We had an early snowstorm last year, and that's what happened.

Anyway, I send you weather condolences.

we have birch and cottonwood and spruce. and we have a few leaves left. (that's actually what the issue was with the downed trees during the storms, they still had their leaves so they fall over easier than when they're bare.
