I forgot to add, in 1999, three US teams qualified (Ina/Zimmerman, Hartsell/Hartsell, and Handy Binnebose). All the teams skated in the SP, but Handy/Binnebose withdrew before the LP.

I think McL/Bru are the best team and this contest gave them a wake-up call. They will be more careful. Hope West Side Story works. I believe the international judges do not like it.

Are you guessing that or do you have actually info? If you are guessing, I don't really know where you would get that idea. They scored quite well with it at SA.
