Looks like the declining economy around the world is taking a toll on the ISU :no:
It has gotten so bad that the Czech Republic can no longer host the 2009 World Junior Championships and that only 5 judges will decide the winners at the 2009 World Championships in LA
The International Skating Union reduced the number of judges on panels for major championships as an emergency measure for local organizing committees, said David Dore, the former head of the Canadian Figure Skating Association, now called Skate Canada.
