These are the jumps, spins and other elements which got the highest GOEs in the grand prix series this year. (Sorry Ice Dance, I'm not familiar with the protocol for Ice dance. It was like reading a poem written in a language which I've never seen before)
I did the same thing for the whole season of 2014-2015 right after 2015 Worlds and realized most of the best elements are from WC, EC, or FCC because skaters tend to perform better later in the season or just because judges get more generous as the season progresses :p. So I thought it is worthy doing this only for the grand prix series :) I did only for the elements which I think are relatively more important or difficult than else.
There can be mistakes. If you find any, correct me.

(FYI, I focused on GOEs, not total scores(BV+GOE). For example, if there are Lutz A (6.00+1.00=7.00) and Lutz B (6.60(x)+0.50=7.10), I took Lutz A. And jumps with !, e or < are not counted, even with a positive goe)

Thanks a lot for this information. Surely it took its time, but it's interesting to see how the numbers have been developing so far (we're basically half way through the season, after all).
Just a little something. In the TSS for the men's SP, Yuzuru is listed twice with performances from NHK? I assume the second one's Boyang?

And welcome to the forum too! :cheer:

A big :laugh2: at Yuzuru having the highest Lutz GOE! I guess that jump really came back from holidays :laugh2:

This is amazing. Thank you so much for this!

Glad to see Lubov and Dylan, Katelyn Osmond, Alaine, and Yulia get a piece of the top action. Sad to see that despite having the highest TES, the Shibutanis don't have a top 5 for PCS scores. I hope that it changes as the season moves forward. I'm also surprised that Yulia didn't get the highest GOE on the layback spin. It is the best in my opinion.

The mens seem dominated by the same 3 over and over again. Makes me itch to watch the GPF now...

Jealous much? Her lutz was okay edge-side.

Full speed it can look ok... take a screenshot(which is not what the judges do) of when her toepick hits the ice and it looks iffy(Definite inside edge at skate america, unsure edge at Moscow... the one at the Ondrej Nepela Trophy actually seems ok to me though it's a horrible angle ). If you do a lutz like Medvedeva(one footed starting with a deep outside edge, huge speed, in that corner) there's a good chance they're not going to call it no matter what the edge is.

Thanks! I edited it.

:) Probably I should have mentioned it to let people notice the links.

Yuzuru's 3F at Skate Canada also got 1.4 GOE, the same as Patrick's. But the 3F is in the first half of the program, so the BV is not as high. Not sure if that counts in your list.

These stats I find very interesting. They lead me to believe that the USA will have two teams on the world podium this year and 3 in the top 6th. Interesting too that Weaver/Poje are not tops in any list yet they are the top team from the GPs having won both of their events. But I can see them not even finishing on the podium this year and most likely will be placed about 5th. Especially when you realise there are 6 teams (with the return of the French World Champs) with former world medalist vying for the 3 podium spots.

Who's 6th team? Cappellini, Shibutani, Chock, Weaver, Papadakis and?

Anyway, thanks for your post. Some interesting information there, especially Cappellini/Lanotte having highest PCS in FD :scratch2:

Bobrova! Yes it was a few years ago but they still are former bronze medalist. And in fact that year they beat all these other teams except the French who were not skating SR at the time.

The 3loop+3toe has more base value than the 3lutz+3toe? I think its wrong or maybe its on the 2nd half of program.

Probably second half. 3Lz+3T is 10.3 and 3Lo+3T is 9.4. Also, this 3T BV increase has things all screwed up. I just noticed 3F+3Lo is worth only 0.1 points more than 3Lz+3T??? (i.e. essentially the SAME) ***???
