Agreed! On all counts. But in this case in particular, I feel that it is particularly unfair to put that kind of expectation on such a young girl's shoulders. Even if she has a brilliant career, but it falls short of of Yuna Kim's, it will be regarded as a failure... Let her be herself!

There are parts that I look at and go, "Hmm, okay. Cool." But there are other parts where I think she moves a bit awkwardly on the ice--perhaps it is because of the OTB tights. Yes, I know, it can get annoying when people harp on about them, but I think in this case, she really should ditch them. Her legs are so twig-like that the tights make her feet look like blocks of clay.

Can anyone comment on her toe jumps? When she takes off on her lutz or flip, her leg that is kicking seems to go up outward a bit. I saw some skaters do that and I am wondering if that's how they are supposed to take off on lutz and flip. Will her jumps last and survive her puberty...?
