I maybe alone on this one but I think Tara Lipinski's 98 SP (Anastasia) and LP (Rainbow) would fit Caroline Zhang perfectly
For goodness' sakes, please no.
Anitra's Dance would do wonderfully. I still have to listen to the other suggestions...
...and come up with some of my own.

What about Lark Ascending? I just went to a Vaughen Wiliams concert tonight, including Lark Ascending. It's such beautiful music. I know Yu-na did it a couple of years ago (and it remains my favorite of Yu-na's programs), but it will be three seasons by next year. I think Caroline would bring a very different look to Lark Ascending than Yu-na, and the music really suits her. Skaters have common music choices all the time, like Giselle last year, so three years apart shouldn't be a big deal.
I'd love for Caroline to skate to it, but I feel it's too closely linked to Yu-Na (and indeed she sampled practically all of the major movements), and Caroline would suffer in comparison. Yu-Na really did such a sublime job with it (I wish she had skated it completely clean at least once) - I still feel it's her best choreographed LP ever.
I agree. It is a beautiful piece of music that Caroline could do a great job with, but at the moment The Lark Ascending still feels like it belongs to Yu-Na. It would be different if it was a more widely used piece, but as far as I know, Yu-Na's the only one who's done it and 3 years doesn't seem like that much time especially with the fantastic job Yu-Na did with it.

Okay, I think I've got it. The Barber violin concerto is a very lyrical 20th century composition that could very well suit Caroline's needs.

Oh, I do like it. The climax at 5:40 is perfect for spirals, indeed. It would take some talented editing to put it all together, though. It's funny, I started chatting with a girl on the bus last night after the concert, and she told me she was a violinist studying at the SF Conservatory. I asked her what her favorite composers were, she told me for playing the violin, she really loves Barber's violin concerto and Tchaikovsky's violin concert. So there, I had two high recommendations for the same two pieces in the same day. LeCygne, you weren't the girl I met on the bus last night were you? That would be too funny!
And I like Tchaikovsky's violin concerto as well. I like the violin melodic theme that starts at 1:10 in this video, doesn't last long, though. And again, a pretty snippet at 3:15. And the orchestral recap starting at 9:00 is wonderful for the final set of spins.
