What a coincidence! I edited Hanyu's MOI ex 'Requiem of Heaven and Earth' to this very music a few weeks ago. The lilting rise and fall of the ocean, the contrast of calm tranquility versus torrential pathos... The sea-foam costume, the lighting at MOI, the swift glide and breadth of his movements, all of it kind of aligned in a miraculous way that required very little editing, especially considering Hanyu was semi-improvising to a live piano performance. The only regret is (of course) that cutting the music shorter removes so many gorgeous bits. Ravel

well combining beloved Schubert and Patrick Chan that makes my life you are right though about CK doing the quiet part very well, I can see her glide forever on these longer notes.
