can we stop hyping Pogorilaya and her poor PCS ?

Leonova is dreadful now and Pogorilaya will be buried if she makes a couple of mistakes at Worlds and with her low PCS, she has lower PCS than Tuk
Pogorilaya getting a max 180+ scoring is too low when you have Mao, Ashley, Gracie, Akiko scoring 190+ , Adelina can score a 190+ if decent. right now,
Pogorilaya has about 5% chance of going to Worlds at least for next year

What has been so bad for Liza's PCS is the bombing of SPs! Pogorilaya bombs nothing really so her PCS could get on a real upswing.

So, had Marchei not competed at 2013 Worlds, Italy would have had 3 spots in the Olympics?

Yes.
And Denis Ten would earn 3 spots for Kazakstan both for Worlds and Olympics if no Abzal Rakimgaliev (who was 28th).
Also Patrick Chan would earn at Worlds-2011 three spots at Worlds-2012 if no Kevin Reynolds (20th at Worlds-2011).

I can see why the rules are as they are, though. If your best skater comes 2nd and your second best 28th, you really can't make use of three spots anyway.

^ By next year though you may have a bunch of top skaters and dont know which ones to send, like Russian Ladies spots.
Im ok with worlds, it is an annual event after all, but I wish world results didnt set the spots for the next Olympic games.
