Figure Skating Events

The 2022 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships will take place Apr 7-9, 2022 in Hamilton, ON, Canada. The event will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2021, the ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules Synchronized Skating 2021, as well as all pertinent ISU Communications. The Kurbada Cup will take place Apr 8-10, 2022, in Riga, Latvia, at the Daugavas Ledus Halle. The 2022 World Junior Figure Skating Championships will take place in April 13-17, 2022, in Tallinn, Estonia, at the Tondiraba lce Hall. "Junior Worlds" is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. ISU Member nations select their entries according to their own criteria. Currently, skaters must be at least 13 years old, but not yet 19, before the previous 1 July, except for men competing in pair skating and ice dancing, where the age maximum is 21. The 2022 ISU International Adult Competition will take place in Oberstdorf, Germany, May 23-28, 2022, at the Eissportzentrum Oberstdorf. The competition is for adult skaters who have reached at least the age of twenty eight (28) and Synchronized skaters at least the age of twenty five (25) before July 1st preceding the event but have not reached the age of seventy eight (78) before July 1st preceding the competition. The 2022 Lake Placid Ice Dance International will take place July 27-29, 2022, in Lake Placid, NY, at the Olympic Center.
