I think it is the edge call thing. The change of rule has scared the skaters to do an unclean jump. They tried to fix Julia's flutz and something went wrong. Now she lost both the Lutz and the flip as well as her confidence.

Doesn't necessarily mean her time in the sport is over. It was just a rough skate.

It wasn't just a rough skate. Her wonky technique is catching up to her maturing body.

She didn't even attempt a Lutz in this competition. That is a big problem and a clear sign.

Kanako and Polina were kind of robbed? I mean that was a completly melt down we saw from Julia, like never before.
Thank God Liza skated here, I cannot express how delighted I am to see her skate like this. She is the revelation of the season and I love to see her so happy!

I am sad that Julia is so sad, but her PCS are far, far too high for what she put out... Kanako should have come in second.
