I don't know if I like more their FD music or SD music. Love both of them. Such a great choices. Can't wait to see it! (Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the world some day.... Oh, yeah ^^ )

EDIT: Happy for their assignments too. Way to go!

There's a TBD Russia spot that S/K is almost certainly getting. I figured this would happen, since they were only guaranteed one GP event.

Last year, the host spots at COR were automatically filled because there were no other alternatives for those spots. This year, it's still TBD, which seems to indicate that they may have some other options, i.e. Tiffany and Jon if they get their citizenship/release sorted out. The likelihood of Tiffany getting released is small but it seems like the fed is considering that option.

That is who I think deserves the TBD spot. Damn fed...
 
Well, if she doesn't get released it's not like they have a choice. Everyone else got two spots, so it's down to whether Tiffany gets released.

Don't understimate S/K (and Zoueva). I'm sure they will have something to say against Y/M at least, especially at SA.

On topic: I'm happy with their assigments to be honest. They're going against Capellinni/Lanotte twice, and if they'll beat them then they're going to be very strong contenders at Euros. Not sure if Papadakis/Cizeron and their team will prepare another magical dance second year in a row.
 
The assignments are exactly what I wanted, so a very happy fan here. :biggrin:

I`m not sure what to think about the SD music, but Elena was able to sell that awful Polka SD she had in the 2012/2013 season, so I guess she will also make it work this time. I`m just glad they are working with a choreographer who comes from the modern dance niche. At least it won`t be generic.
 
As far as I'm concerned, the question is: Are ice dance judges ready for "a choreographer who comes from the modern dance niche"?

Hmm, they liked P/C`s FD and that was also inspired by modern dance. I just hope this is going to work for them, since I believe most couples will use the more traditional route like B/S, who are using Masquerade Waltz and R&J.
