Elena Ilinykh & Ruslan Zhiganshin

What? Who is attacking my dear Lena?? how dare they? Oh yes I forgot they don't have a life. She is beautiful and healthy. And she is too fabulous and hardworking to care for those antis.

Thank you. I've been waiting patiently by the laptop... It's long and it has nice photos, that's for sure. Now let's see what Google translate makes of it. :drama:

It's very interesting as well. I love the part where Lena says it's impossible to fight with Ruslan cause first of all he does everything correctly and then he supports her so much. Or how they explain Frida, they don't care about competitors, even if they have the same music.
They are very down to earth and serious about work

I'm still worried about their SD. Elena said that their SD took much more effort than FD.

I figured it was more because they were working with someone new and on a new style for them. Not because the program itself is a problem.

After Lena's words I'm very intrigued to see Ruslan in SD.
And I'm very glad to know that Karponosov approved what he had seen.

So Najarro changed something in their SD, sounds pretty cool. And the fact that some star in the sky now named Ruslena is just amazing :)

I like the way they talk about their skating, their training process, and how they seem to do that together as a team. I really think they deserved this kind of luck, it's as if the stars alligned.
And Lena is intriguing, how exactly is Ruslan in the SD?:cheer:
And it kind of seems that with I/Z, their coaching group as well is changing its strategy, as Ruslan said they used to be more classic,I'd say more traditional in a way that was maybe sometimes too traditional.
And I believe that if they love a program they can make it shine. They are emotional skaters,if they don't like something you can see it.

God can I love these 2 anymore than I do? The answer is YES!!!!

I love the connection they share and the strength of their partnership. I feel Elena finally has her partner in Ruslan. They make no innuendos about the season either, they know what has to be done. I can't wait for the Senior B!!!!

I guess that coaching group is not stupid, they obviously want to keep this team and therefore they have to keep Elena happy. And she gets artistic freedom there, I think that's really what she needs. I think her ideas for next season are great, so I'm happy that they can do what they want and work with the people that they want.

Najarro must really like them a lot, he wouldn't want to see their SP and suggesting some changes if he didn't. I know that I will most certainly like their FS and I'm really curious about their SP. Ah, I predict that it's going to be fantastic! :cheer:

I think with I/Z the coaching team has finally a couple that has it all. Their former couples were good too, but there always seemed to miss something to make it to the top. Besides, with Elena it`s the first time they have a female ice dancer with star quality, usually the male ice dancers in the training group were considered to be more talented.

Anyway, I`m glad Najarro worked a little bit on their SD, since he really seems to get them and knows what works for them.

Makes sense. As she rightly explained "combining a contemporary choreography with waltz and then moving all that into the ice it's not a simple task". Don't forget that in the SD you have a pattern also and all these elements must be blend it together.

And I'm very glad to know that Karponosov approved what he had seen.

Really? I'm glad about it. When did this happened?

I'm not Tanka, sorry Tanka for replying...
Vaitsekovskaya wrote that at the top of her interview. After Latvia with the programs already made they invited him to practice)

I don't think this is about wanting to keep her and therefore make her happy. I think if Kustarova and Alexeeva don't like something they would say so. My idea is that sometimes even the most experienced people in the field needs new and fresh ideas. Working with new and different people - including choreographers - which offers you a new perspective helps a lot. Maybe they didn't have many chances before to explore themselves in that respect. Skaters who come up with ideas can help coaches as well. It's a collaboration and it's a creative work, not a school. Not every idea can be good but skater should never be afraid of coming up and proposing new ideas. You try something new and if it doesn't work, Amen. You go and try something else. Never stop or wait for others. ;)
