2016 Skate Canada Men's LP

Doesn't the us have any "young" skaters?

Alexei KRASNOZHON
Vincent ZHOU
Andrew TORGASHEV
Tomoki HIWATASHI
Kevin SHUM

All come to mind.

Of our top seniors Jason Brown and Nathan Chen are actually our youngest I think. Jordan Moeller is between them in age but was out with injury last year... but he is beautiful to watch when on. And since it will be asked/get brought up Josh Farris is about a month younger than Jason.

Hochstein: La Lune (The Moon): Cyclic transformation covering the mysterious forces of the night. Feminine beauty and the intoxicating vitality of youth. The metamorphosis from beauty to beast and vice versa. Occult forces, sensitivities and intense dreams. Dangerous situations and perilous times.

Tarot generator sort of (?) 3/3.

Grant Hotchstein

Sparkly maroon shirt, skating to opera. Here are the highlights. Pulls it together later with a nice leg wrap. And some flutter hands. Gorgeous spread eagle that turns into a fall (what?). I honestly had no idea what the hell was going on in that program. It's DRAMATIC ARMS then all the sudden flutter hands and dancing on your toes then DRAMATIC ARMS again.

Listening to Grant groan while watching the replay is entertaining, though. He and his coach are discussing popping stratigies

Liam Firus
Grant Hotchstein 140.43/200.63
Ross Miner

There's something uplifting, emotionally open and authentic about Grant's skating. There's no contrived emotionality or posing.

Plus, can I just say that I'm loving Klimov as a commentator now? Really tactful and finally talking now that he's over his shyness! :luv17:
