Skating to Sinatra while wearing a cloth of gold lounge jacket with black velvet trim. Typical jazzy program for the men, but I'll give him a pass because he's young. It helps that he actually has some musicality. If we see nothing but cliches from him in the future I'll be disappointed because he's so much better than that.

Looks like the ice has either ate its fill yesterday... or it's waiting to eat the second group. Either way, congrats on the great skate, Alex!

Absolutely, he is very fit, not out-of-shape at all.

Uhhh, he almost didn't do any unterpretation for the first half. I love me some Misha, but great performance this was not, not in terms of interpretation.

I must disagree. I applaud Misha's regal but not OTT interpretation at the beginning. When the music crescendoed then he appropriately became more animated. I thought he had the prince role perfectly portrayed. This program will serve him well!

I'm so happy with the clean skates!

My two year old daughter was sitting with me for a bit and Mishe was her first-ever figure skating experience and she kept breathing "wow" as he was skating. ha ha She especially liked his spins and footwork. She got bored during Brevin and wanted him to stop spinning. LOL I liked Brevin but liked Mishe more.
