You mean 1 quad and six triples? That doesn't seem likely considering who is coaching her.
I think there's a very high chance she will keep two 2A and 7 triples instead; thus she can still benefit of an (above) average BV even if she messes up the opening quad, since I doubt her 4S will be super consistent in competition right from the start.

Oh sorry I wasn't referring to the number of jumps in first/second half, I was talking about the numbers of triples she'll have in her lp.
I wouldn't be surprised if she brings a 2A1Lo3S combo, so to have still 2 double axel and 7 triples to rely on in the second half of her lp.. Let's see

She did good. Her PCS was somewhat low but her TES was 39.46 which is the 5th highest among junior ladies.

I was just catching up with Brisbane after work and watched performances while also tidying up. I did not know this was the Russian wonder skater when I got back to watching. So, I was like huh... she is good. Really good. That must be her!

She got underscored pretty hard.

Hopefully her having a strong SP and starting in the final group for the FS will allow for more fair scoring. Yes, she does certainly need to work on certain aspects when it comes to presentation(Although some of her body movements are very good for her age), but she does deserve to have the highest PCS of this group by quite a margin.

I'll also be praying that she lands a clean quad.

That layout is insane and she should also be close to having a 3A.

Some easy improvements, however, would be to change one(both?) of the 2Ts into 2Los, and to repeat a 3F instead of a 3Lo...

It's the curse of those who skate earlier. Judges aren't quite so trigger happy with their scores.
