At 16 my list of accomplishments would be: gets out of bed in the morning when shaken awake and is able to sit through a whole Opera without begging to leave every 5 min.

Maybe because, at 16, it’s hard to think of yourself as a mom to anybody.
Can still remember my husband’s shock when, at a Sting Concert, a 15 year old turned to him (who was 23) and said “hey uncle can I borrow your binoculars”.
I laughed and laughed, for a few more years, then I started getting the same treatment.

That's probably translation issue and lack of English. If she used the word хозяин in Russian that will be translated more correctly to master/host etc. rather than owner. Owner goes usually to non life objects. I think the first (master/host) was her intention.

Couldn't agree more!!!
She needs to apply to be verified, from within her account and in the process send them a photo of a picture ID. Under account settings there is a "Request verification" link.
