5. Alina Zagitova - I am worrying more and more about her injuries (or growth pains as her team calls ithwell
. The tapes are all over her legs. She still has this mental thing where if she makes a mistake at the beginning it's kinda like a domino effect and you get what happened today. So I just wanna ask you: if you were saying "zhenya's done" and more hurtful things when she ended up 14th yesterday, would you say that for Alina today after she ended up 12th in the fs? If yes, STOP YOURSELF IN THE TRACKS AND DON'T SEND EVEN MORE NEGATIVE THINGS TO YET ANOTHER SKATER, THEY REALLY DON'T NEED IT. I still can't believe she got more PCS than everyone except Zhenya for that skate today.....
Am I correct that Anna was the youngest of the 18 skaters in the competition? If so, makes her victory all the more impressive.
Trusova is younger
I would like to say that exactly what is said here about Alina's domino effect we saw with Zhenya at least at JGP France. That is not something exclusively happening to Alina. I would also add that we have seen the very first fall of Alina during the whole season. So bashing her I see very out of the place.
Also, I do this again, shorter version. We have the opportunity to read very negative things about Alina even in friday. We have read tha Alina's pcs was "shocking" even when she delivered completely clean program. So please, don't portray this in so biased way, you completely lack objectivity.

Ah, you're right. Anna was born on March 28, 2004. Sasha was born on June 23, 2004. Almost as close as their scores today.
Nastya’s PCS were a joke. 58? At Nationals? Anya and Alena both got fairer PCS (though Alena should get even more) why not Nastya? Her interpretation and performance was beautiful!
But congrats to the 3A! This is the best podium I could’ve asked for... it’s only missing Alina...![]()
On the subject of Nastya, I'm just going to mention that it's now been reported that her grandmother passed away the morning of the SP.
Honestly, I'm impressed she skated here at all and I'm blown away by how well she did in the FS.

Given what transpired today, is it safe to say it's unlikely that any of Anna, Sasha, or Alena will be held back in juniors next year? (I'm pretty sure this isn't even a choice with Alena and was unlikely to begin with for Sasha.)
If so, this could open the door to Kamila dominating juniors for the next few years. And makes me feel bad for all the talented Russian seniors who will face an even more uphill battle for representing their country in competition!

That‘s so sad to her and I wish her all the strength. It‘s so impressive how she managed to find the strength to even be at this competition and do her best over two skates. She had an amazing FS despite all that has happened and she should be really proud of that. One day when the grieving has passed. Probably, her mind isn‘t too much on RusNats right now. But she still came here and competed and that is admirable and tough. What a strong and wonderful girl.On the subject of Nastya, I'm just going to mention that it's now been reported that her grandmother passed away the morning of the SP.

Why not? She could have some real success next year on JGP. She’s only 14 yrs old.I'm worried for Tarakanova, she needed a good placement here to have a chance for one GP spot next season, and she shouldn't stay another year in juniors.
