The Quadster did it again!
Looking a bit tentative at the start of the World Championships in her SP, Aleksandra threw three quads and one of them in a combo in her FS. This gave her an almost insurmountable lead, which she didn’t gave away in her routine that is packed with difficulties and scoring ability.
Congrats to Anna too, she fought for every mark, smiling with confidence as her routine progressed.
I was hoping for a Russian 1-2-3, just to watch those three wonderful girls on the pedestal singing along with their National Anthem, but the USA girl rightfully earned her Bronze medal.
Lots of ISU events going on almost simultaneously, NED short track women did great today in their WC, speed skaters are on the fastest ice in the world right now in another WCF, so no more words from me.

Now I'm looking forward to next season. I really hope they give her something more lyrical/musical than her FS this year. While I enjoy it, I think it does her performance abilities a disservice compared to the programs from her first junior season. I'm tired of the ridiculous criticism she got this year of being a jumping machine with no other talents, and therefore undeserving of her accomplishments, when in reality she has very strong skating skills and can absolutely perform as a character. More musical programs/choreography will be a better vehicle to show off her strong points and build up the senior PCS.

Congrats Sasha! Her 4Ts are so good and seem pretty consistent! It’s surreal to think this is her last junior international competition. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the future, hope she keeps improving and challenging herself

Uff .. Congratulations Sasha with a victory! It was as exciting as ever. I hope that next season her programs will be no less destructive for the psyche of the audience.
Sasha is without a doubt the greatest junior girl figure skater of all time! Congrats on going back to back.

Congratulations on her title, so well earned. I just wish her to be at least as successful in seniors as she is now and of course health and many quads.
Out of curiosity ,when she is 'breaking the glass' in front of the judges, how they look like, if it was me I would probably start laughing, but will be interesting to see their reaction

Bravo, Sasha! Has there ever been any measurement of the height of her quads? That toe loop was huge!

Sasha's exhibition program will not be her SP from last season but to music from SIA ("Unstoppable"). That's new right? How exciting

What a cool program. Sasha seemed to have so much fun. The split jump to immediate 3T took me by surprise.
