The pairs starts at 17.10 so 8.00am in the morning uk.Live /Eurosport.:clap: I'm going to get up check the cd results can't wait till later to watch .See my daughters off to school then try to watch some of the pairs.:) What are you going to do ?
 
We don't have any news from the practices, and if we don't have any reports from the competitions here it will be such a :cry:

The first thing I shall do is calm down, as I had worked out in my non-Maths centric brain that it was starting at 9pm - 9hours ahead instead of behind, when I saw all these threads here saying "only a few hours to go." :laugh:

The schedule is pretty crap for us in Europe isn't it? :p

Let's predict who are the top three after CD

Here's my unscientific prediction:

1. Bulgarian pair
2. Russian pair
3. American pair

It could be in any order. I have a wild feeling that those three will be the final medalists as well, but I'm still not so certain about Canada's DL vs. B/A. I'll make a final call on the medalists before tonight's competition starts.

Has Alla Piseeva missed a championship dance competition since...the 1990's? She's been on every Worlds and Olympic panel for as far as I can remember (part of the 4 judges who voted for Lobachova/Averbukh in 2002--I didn't think it would be that close)
 
chuck, many thanks for the info, I saw your post earlier on the ISU board, and re-registerd there, having not posted for years, but I'm waiting to be activated by Admin. Can I ask you a question about the Judges?

He is really a Brit, being a Dance Coach over many years, and all this season acting as a Judge in British domestic events and the GB Nats. How is it that he can Judge internationally for Israel and for GB at home in the same season?

Thanks for any info, as I can't find anything out about the rules.

I looked up the timetable. The CD starts from 12:00 local which is GMT+9. I checked my computer, the EST is GMT -5. Is the time difference 14 hours ?

Does it mean it will start from 10:00 PM EST?

I Thought it was 13 hours different. i am almost postive it starts at 11:00pm if the west coast starts at 8:00pm
 
I am so excited for worlds to start that I am staying up all night for the Play by play...so someone PLEASE do it.
